MapCHECK 4D utilizes the MapCHECK XY table to move the MapCHECK detectors on a BEV trajectory during radiation delivery. The movement is programmable by the clinicians and holds a respiratory gating box to gate beam delivery to the MapCHECK.

1. MapCHECK 4D is the only 4D IG/IMRT QA product on the market.

2. MapCHECK 4D allows assessment of different IG/IMRT delivery methods (SMLC, DMLC, solid modulator) with respect to motion studies. Variation in delivered dose vs. planned dose is measured and analyzed.

3. MapCHECK 4D enables the testing of delivery gating methodology.

4. MapCHECK 4D will allow the user to customize motion studies gathered from patient-specific data from 4D RCCT, Calypso® Beacons, and other technologies.

MapCHECK software allows easy import of the patient’s DICOM RT structure set file for filtered analysis based on any specific patient structures. With the 4D software component, the XY/4D table expands structure analysis and evaluates the actual impact of 1) target motion on target dose (analyzing the impacts of motion on delivery), and/or 2) gated radiotherapy on specific patient structures. Structure outlines are viewed directly on the measured dose map (BEV) which results from the gated radiotherapy cycle. Meaningful software analysis tools, such as histograms and gamma analysis, allow one to quickly examine the fundamental impact to any one structure or group of structures.

The 4D software component of MapCHECK XY/4D runs seamlessly in the MapCHECK user interface, ensuring a short learning curve.
