Once upon a time...
RTI Electronics was established in 1981 and has been growing ever since. Today we are a world-leader in instrumentation for quality control in diagnostic radiology. Our roots originated at Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg, the foremost technical university in Sweden. Our products are used worldwide by hospitals, manufacturers of X-ray equipment, service companies, and government authorities. |
| Along with in-house research and product development, we are active in various advanced research projects in the field. In addition, we participate in the work of IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) to create uniform standards within diagnostic radiology. |
X-ray Quality Assurance and Service is our business...
Our activities focus entirely on instrumentation for quality control and service for diagnostic radiology, which explains why we have more than four thousand instruments sold worldwide. We have extensive experience in this field. As early as in 1982 we sold our first non-invasive kVp meter called Digi-X. The Digi-X was one of the first products of this type on the market and has been a prototype for other products from both ourselves and from other companies. |

| As demands have changed and technology developed, a variety of products suited for different needs have been introduced to the market. Mini-X, PMX-I, PMX-II, PMX-III, Solidose 300/400, RFM, and Doseguard 100 are all products from RTI Electronics that have been developed to meet the whole spectrum of needs; multi-function systems for use with PCs, stand-alone measurements and measurements of different parameters. | RTI Products & Additional Information
