January 22, 2008 - Friends Without a Border: Angkor Hospital for Children

We Would like to thank Friends Without A Border for giving us the opportunity to donate Radiology equipment to Angkor Hospital for Children!

Since Angkor Hospital for Children opened its doors in 1999, more than 491,000 children have received top-quality medical care, previously unavailable to them.  Over the years, AHC has expanded its range of services and now offers dental, ophthalmologic, HIV/AIDS and specialty services.  In accordance with our mission to rebuild the devasted Cambodian healthcare system, AHC's Medical Education Center serves as the preeminent pediatric medical training facility in Northern Cambodia.  In 2005 AHC partnered with the Cambodian Ministry of Health and other regionally active NGOs to bring medical and nursing training to thousands of medical works from throughout Cambodia.
